Reminder: Safety Fence Installation & Annual Chili Dump!

Happy Holidays!  It looks like there is a decent amount of snow on the ground and enough ice on the lake for lots of winter fun.  A quick reminder that the safety fences will be installed on Saturday, Jan 11, 2014 starting at 9:00am.  If you're able to make it out all help is appreciated!

The annual Chili Dump will also take place on Saturday, Jan 11.  It starts at noon at the Heileman's - 1767 W Carpenter Lake Rd.  See the attached invitation below and be sure to RSVP to Colleen Heileman at colleen.heileman@gmail.com or 920-261-0192

Hello Hunters! Hopefully those of you who spent time sitting out in the cold opening weekend will soon find your freezers full of venison hot sticks and tenderloin steaks.

If you've taken home the monster buck, or maybe just hit that little nub with your truck, send your pictures and name to roland.jacob@gmail.com and we'll upload them to the blog! Or if you have a great venison recipe you'd like to share send it to the same email and we will give you all the credit.

Creek Clean-up

Hi everybody! This weekend is the annual creek clean-up. If you are around and ready to help, we will see you at the outlet on Saturday morning at 10am. Feel free to bring pitchforks, rakes, waders, gloves and a wheel barrow if you have one. There will be a Lake Association meeting to follow. See you there!
